50 State and 51 Capital Walking Programs

Order your special 50 State/51 Capital Book(s) "Walking the United States" today. 

The 50-State/51-Capital Book records your achievements in these programs. Simply mark on the cover whether the book is recording for states or capitals. You will need to purchase two books if you are participating in both programs. 

Basic Program: Once your book is completed, you are entitled to a personalized certificate - free with purchase of book. 

Deluxe Package: You may wish to purchase a deluxe package at the conclusion of the program, which entitles you to an elegant certificate, patch (designs pictured above) and T-shirt for $25. Details on ordering the deluxe package are located on the back of the books. Those who have already completed either or both programs can purchase the deluxe package at any time.

These are not official IVV Books, do NOT replace the regular record books for IVV Achievement Awards, and are not subject to IVV rules and regulations.

There is no charge for using an IVV stamp in these books. Use of the IVV stamp or written annotation will be accepted to record completed walks in this program. Events placed in the "Walking the United States" books are determined by the program participant. The AVA will not disallow any event. 

With the exception of Washington, D.C., the same walks can be used for both programs.

The Fifty State and Fifty-one Capital programs are retroactive. Previous achievements can be written into these record books. New events can be written in or, for no additional fee, recorded using the official IVV stamp.
