There are three basic types of events:

Walks, bikes, or swims on weekends and evenings which are hosted by the local clubs with staffed registration and checkpoints. You register at the start and then walk your own pace on marked or mapped routes.

Guided walks: A guide leads the group along the route. These usually have a single start time.

Year-round events: 1800+ self-guided walks, bikes, swims available most every day. Register at the registration box, take a map and guide yourself on the route.

Information on 10k/2k event may be found on page 556 in the 2009 Starting Point Book. The Wilsonville walk is the only YRE in the Portland area that qualifies for the Walk Oregon Challenge alphabetic letter "W". Visit the Korean War Memorial and historic church.
